Alisha Martin Promoted At Mahogany

Say “Hello” to Mahogany Columbus’ new Associate Publisher, Alisha Martin. Since day one, my daughter has played a vital role in our magazine’s marketing, and operational decision making. At each one of our Mahogany Release Receptions she’s brought a powerful presence – opening with words of life and gratitude for those featured in each and every issue.

Throughout her professional career, Alisha has remained deeply committed to education, dedicating herself to uplifting thousands of Black and Brown children across Central Ohio. Her passion for liberation through education aligns with our mission: to empower young people to see themselves in the powerful stories we feature and highlight.

Alisha certainly embodies this next generation of dynamic Women of Color in Central Ohio, myself and our team at Mahogany are thrilled to officially welcome her as our new Associate Publisher. This is the fulfillment of my life’s dream and she makes her Daddy Extremely Proud!
