The Bill Gay Show Atlanta Classic Hits & Talk Radio
This is a hot topic for radio of all formats. If no due process we all might be in trouble and that’s not the way it should work. Florida Democrat Gen-Z Rep. Maxwell Frost and other lawmakers have arrived in El Salvador. The trip follows a promise Frost made last week to go to the country if a mistakenly deported man, Kilmar Abrego Garcia, wasn’t returned to the U.S.
Frost is joined by Rep. Yassamin Ansari (D-Ariz.), Rep. Maxine Dexter (D-Colo.) and Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.). Their visit to El Salvador comes after another Democratic lawmaker, Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen, went to the country and met with Abrego Garcia last week.
Frost says, “Trump is illegally arresting, jailing, & deporting people with no due process. We must hold the Administration accountable for these illegal acts and demand Kilmar’s release. Today it’s him, tomorrow it could be anyone else. Proud to be here, building off of the work of Sen Van Hollen.”
