NJ’s Sen. Cory Booker Marries Alexis Lewis

Congratulations to Cory Booker and Alexis Lewis who are now married. The U.S. Senator, 56, and the real estate investment firm director, 38, said “I do” during two separate wedding ceremonies, both of which took place at sentimental locations for the couple.

The first happened on Monday, Nov. 24, in Newark, N.J. — central to many big moments in Booker’s political career. The pair was joined by their parents as witnesses, The New York Times reported.

A second wedding celebration followed days later on Saturday, Nov. 29, in Washington, D.C., where the couple was joined by loved ones, the outlet said. Lewis wore a gown by House of Gilles and Booker wore a classic tuxedo.

Booker and Lewis announced their wedding news through joint Instagram posts on Sunday, Nov. 30.
