To celebrate the rollout of their yearly Spotify Wrapped campaign on Wednesday, bosses at the music streaming service revealed their customers’ listening habits throughout the year.
The Puerto Rican rapper, who will headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show in February, was unveiled as the world’s most-played artist of 2025, with more than 19.8 billion streams.
He was closely followed by Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, Drake and Billie Eilish.
It’s the fourth time the Latin star has held Spotify’s global streaming title, after dominating streams in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Bunny, real name Benito Martínez Ocasio, also topped the global albums chart with his 2025 release, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, while his 2022 album, Un Verano Sin Ti, came in at number 10.
The global top five was completed by the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack, Hit Me Hard and Soft by Eilish, SOS Deluxe: Lana by SZA and Short n’ Sweet by Sabrina Carpenter. The latter three albums were released in 2024.
