The MSI Foundation, Inc. and its funding partners (Gray Media & The Nielsen Foundation) hosted its 3^rd MBC exposé at the Atlanta University Center (AUC) November 20, 2025 on the campus of Clark Atlanta University (CAU).

The MBC exposé is the marketing campaign to introduce the first collegiate concentration in “Media Sales, Operations & Marketing” (MSD) in the country; to the AUC student body and administrative staff. The concentration focuses on the business units of media… NOT its production. (www.themsd.net)

The concentration will be open to ALL majors at the AUC (Fall of 2026) and will be media’s first pipeline of properly prepared and pre-qualified college graduates for careers in media sales, operations & marketing departments. The concentration is modeled after the already successful (25 year) Media Sales Institute (MSI) program, which is the nation’s leading talent development program for media sales professionals. Additionally, the concentration is being developed in partnership with 5 media trade associations and 3 research companies.

The MSD addresses the media industry’s challenge of ensuring a diverse workforce while also recognizing the industry’s current “on-boarding” process for sales & operations is flawed!.
