Beasy Baybie has officially become one of the voices you can’t miss on Atlanta radio. Known and loved as the nighttime voice of Majic 107.5/97.5 FM, Beasy is now expanding her presence by adding a Sunday morning show. Sunday mornings from 9-11am, Beasy is giving listeners even more of the authenticity, inspiration, and real talk she’s built her brand on. Whether you’re winding down your night or easing into your Sunday, Beasy is there — setting the tone, holding space, and connecting with Atlanta in a way that feels personal and intentional.

Her journey to Atlanta radio has been nothing short of earned. Beasy’s career kicked off in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she served as executive producer and on-air personality for WGIV’s “The BJ Murphy Morning Show.” She later moved to Columbia, South Carolina, taking over middays at WHXT before being promoted to Afternoon Drive, where she dominated the market with the #1 radio show for more than five years. During that time, she built strong relationships with local TV networks, delivering segments across FOX, CBS, NBC, and ABC affiliates, proving her voice and presence extended well beyond radio.

Beasy’s influence also stretches into entertainment and culture. She’s covered major events like the BET Awards, Hip Hop Awards, and Social Awards, and has been a familiar face on red carpets for major premieres including The New Edition Story and The Bobby Brown Story. Her impact hasn’t gone unnoticed — in 2023, she received a Gracie Award from Women in Media, has been recognized by Who’s Who in America, honored as Radio Ink’s Future African American Leader in Radio, and named one of the world’s Great Black Speakers.

At the heart of everything Beasy does is community. Through her initiative Operation We Got Us, she’s provided relief for flood and hurricane victims, supported underserved and unhoused communities, and extended care to incarcerated individuals. She’s also a consistent presence in schools, detention centers, and universities, using her story to motivate and uplift. Alongside her radio work, Beasy serves as Assistant Production Director for Urban One Atlanta, is the author of three books — That Night, I Died, Conv;cted: The Beasy Baybie Story, and Jesus and Coffee with Beasy Baybie — and hosts a weekly podcast by the same name.

Now, with nights and Sunday mornings on Majic 107.5/97.5 FM, Beasy Baybie continues to grow while staying grounded in purpose. She’s not just a radio personality — she’s a voice of encouragement, resilience, and real-life wisdom for Atlanta.
