The Bill Gay Show Atlanta Classic Hits & Talk Radio

The National Black Radio Hall of Fame, a vital institution dedicated to celebrating and honoring the impactful contributions of Black personalities in the radio industry, is thrilled to announce that nominations for its 2026 class are now officially open.
Headquartered in St. Louis, MO, at Harris-Stowe State University’s Vashon Center, the National Black Radio Hall of Fame continues its legacy of recognizing the achievements of Black radio professionals. Founded by Bernie Hayes, a trailblazer who began his radio career in 1950, the Hall of Fame serves as a beacon of knowledge and appreciation for Black radio’s rich history and profound influence on the industry.
This year, the Class of 2026 Induction Ceremonies will occur on September 19, 2026, in Charlotte, NC. This prestigious event will celebrate the trailblazers and visionaries whose contributions have shaped the landscape of American radio.
To nominate a deserving individual, visit our website at www.nbrhof.org. We encourage nominations that reflect the diversity and depth of talent within the Black radio community.
Let’s come together to honor the luminaries of Black radio and ensure their stories and achievements are remembered for generations to come.
