The Bill Gay Show Atlanta Classic Hits & Talk Radio

Jacobs Media says artificial intelligence emerged as the defining theme at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, reshaping conversations across industries and signaling significant implications for radio and media companies.
The consulting firm attended its 18th CES last week in Las Vegas, where executives spent several days reviewing emerging technologies and industry trends. According to Jacobs Media, AI’s rapid growth and expanding influence dominated the event, eclipsing past focal points such as in-car infotainment systems and underscoring how deeply the technology is embedding itself across business and daily life.
Company leaders noted that AI is accelerating innovation at a pace that requires media organizations to do more than simply adapt. To remain competitive, broadcasters must move in step with the technology’s evolution, particularly as it reshapes content creation, distribution, and audience engagement.
To help broadcasters better understand those shifts, Jacobs Media will host a free, one-hour webinar titled “CES 2026: What Happened in Vegas and What It Means to Radio Broadcasters” on Thursday, January 29, at 2pm ET.
The webinar will be hosted by Fred Jacobs and Paul Jacobs, alongside Chris Brunt and Quu CEO Steve Newberry. Presenters will recap key CES takeaways and discuss how AI-driven changes are likely to impact radio broadcasters in the years ahead.
Jacobs Media said the webinar is intended for a broad cross-section of the industry, including managers, programmers, marketers, digital professionals, and sales teams. Topics will include AI’s role in content development, media placement, and the evolving ways audiences access and consume media, whether in cars, at home, or through emerging platforms.
The company also plans to highlight how AI advances in robotics and home technology could further influence listener behavior and expectations as the media landscape continues to evolve. Register here for the free webinar.
