Accepting Applications For Scholarships

The GAB is still accepting applications for the E. Lanier Finch Scholarship, but the deadline is approaching fast- Friday, December 5, 2025. We’re asking all member stations, owners, and managers to help us get this in front of the next generation of broadcasters. Applications must meet the following requirements:

-Georgia resident

-Full-time student

-Junior or Senior at a Georgia college or university

-3.0 GPA or higher

Applicants must submit:

-A 500-word essay about their passion and career goals in broadcasting

-A current resume

-Optional letters of recommendation

Please forward this to your interns, student workers, campus contacts, and anyone pursuing a journalism career. The students who receive this support often get the boost they need to enter and grow in our industry, and your outreach makes a direct impact.
