Bad Bunny To Headline 2026 Super Bowl

On Sunday, representatives for Apple Music, the National Football League (NFL), and Roc Nation announced that the King of Latin Trap will perform a concert during the championship game staged at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on 8 February 2026.

In a statement, Bad Bunny – real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio – shared his excitement over the news. “What I’m feeling goes beyond myself,” he commented. “It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture, and our history.”

In Spanish, the 31-year-old added: “Go and tell grandma that we will be the Halftime Show of the Super Bowl.” The announcement comes three weeks after Bad Bunny revealed he had decided not to bring his world tour to the United States because of concerns that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers may target his shows.

And JAY-Z, who serves as the live music entertainment strategist for the NFL, went on to praise the La Canción star for his dedication to his homeland. “What Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring. We are honoured to have him on the world’s biggest stage,” the hip-hop icon gushed. Meanwhile, NFL global event production executive Jon Barker declared that Bad Bunny was the perfect artist to headline the spectacle.
