The news game is changing. Almost half of U.S. adults consume new on social media. 55% of Twitter users get news from its platform, compared with 59% last year. YouTube fell from 32% to 30%, and Snapchat fell from 19% to 16%. Instagram is roughly the same at 28% in 2020 to 27% in 2021. The indicator here is that news and the interest in news has made a dramatic change.
