NABOB | “MSI Class 2025”

The National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters Telecommunication, Education and Management Foundation (NABOB) and the MSI Foundation (MSI) concluded its 10^th annual “Media Sales, Business Operations & Marketing” institute at The Atlanta University Center (AUC), hosted by Morehouse College’s – Marketing Department. Here are the highlights.

Class Profile:

– 20 Cohorts Completed the Institute
– Each earned 3 certifications:

• NABOB/MSI
• Nielsen Television – Basics
• Nielsen Audio – Basics

–13 Universities/Colleges represented
–13 Females/ 7 Males
–2 Master’s Degrees
–3 “Career Changers”
–3 MSI graduates (from industry) served as instructors
–1 MSI graduate served as a “Facilitator”
–9 Media Companies and 14 Recruiters attended the 2 days of recruiting

Each candidate received at minimum 3 offers to formally interview
Since the institute, 6 of the candidates have received offers to begin their media sales department careers.
