The Bill Gay Show Atlanta Classic Hits & Talk Radio

Star 94.5FM (WCFB-FM), a Cox Media Group station, is proud to announce the “Raising Boys to Men” Forum and Dinner, an evening dedicated to empowering young men and supporting the parents and guardians who guide them.
The event will take place on October 15 at 5:15 p.m. inside the Stanley Steemer Performance Studio at Star 94.5. Presenting in partnership with BOYS2MEN Mentoring of Orlando (www.b2morlando.org), the forum will spark crucial conversations around raising strong, resilient young men in today’s social environment.
Topics will include building character, achieving academic success, and supporting mental wellness. A licensed mental health therapist will also share insights to help recognize the signs of depression and anxiety.
According to the CDC, more than 1 in 3 high school students report persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness. Recognizing challenges young men face, Star 94.5 created this initiative to inspire, educate, and unite families across Central Florida.
“Our forum is designed to prepare young men for lives that are both rewarding and impactful,” said Elroy Smith, Director of Branding and Programming for Star 94.5. “As a community station, we feel an obligation to make a difference. We want to empower parents and guardians with tools and resources to help guide their sons toward success and leadership in society.” For full details on the “Raising Boys to Men” Forum and Dinner, visit Star945.com.
