Philadelphia’s Power 99 Announces The “Hometown Heroes”

iHeartMedia Philadelphia’s Power 99, Philly’s #1 Hip Hop and R&B station, is proud to announce its new community-driven initiative: the “Hometown Heroes” campaign in partnership with Chase supporting local communities with flexible banking solutions to help you go far. The monthly program shines a light on the everyday champions who are making extraordinary contributions to uplift and transform Philadelphia communities.

Each month through the end of the year, Power 99’s Rise & Grind Morning Show will spotlight a listener-nominated Hometown Hero – an individual who leads or works with a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization making a real difference in the community. The selected hero will receive $1,000 to support and grow their organization’s mission.

Listeners can submit nominations by writing 200 words or less about their chosen hero’s nonprofit work and impact. To nominate someone, visit Hometown Heroes.
