Reopening, National Center for Civil and Human Rights

Exciting news for history enthusiasts! The National Center for Civil and Human Rights is set to reopen on November 8, 2025, featuring new buildings honoring former Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin and Atlanta Falcons Owner and Philanthropist Arthur Blank.

One of the intriguing highlights includes a new exhibit shedding light on the Reconstruction era, spanning the crucial 15 years post-Civil War and pre-Jim Crow era.
