Roman Foster Signs New Deal With (The Zone) Nashville

Sports WGFX-FM (104.5 The Zone) Nashville has signed Vol For Life and former NFL standout Ramon Foster to a multi-year contract extension, keeping him on the station’s morning show Ramon & Will. Foster will continue co-hosting the program weekdays from 6-10am. The show airs on 104.5 The Zone and is also distributed through the Zone Podcast Network.

A fixture on Nashville sports radio for the past five years, Foster has been a key part of Ramon & Will, offering analysis shaped by his background as a University of Tennessee standout and an 11-year NFL veteran with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The station says the renewed agreement also allows for expanded game-day coverage, additional guest appearances, and increased community-focused programming.

Foster, a Tennessee native, earned All-SEC honors during his collegiate career before moving on to a long professional run in the NFL. Since retiring from football, he has remained active in sports media as a color analyst for Vol Network football broadcasts while building his on-air role at The Zone.

Allison Warren, Vice President and Market Manager for Cumulus Nashville, said Foster’s presence has been a key part of the station’s local identity. Programming Operations Manager Paul Mason added that Foster’s credibility and connection to the region have helped strengthen the station’s morning lineup.
