The Jamal Bates Morning Show (TJBMS) is a nationally syndicated urban inspiration morning show currently heard on WAAW Shout 94.7 FM, from Augusta, GA/Aiken SC every Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. EST and in Florence, SC on WPDT Almighty 105.1fm from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. TJBMS boast an exclusive 25-54 faith-based audience.
The show’s host is radio veteran Jamal Bates, a multi-award winning (including NAB MARCONI AWARD NOMINATION) nationally-syndicated radio host, TV personality, emcee, voice-over talent, former law enforcement officer and a devoted Pastor. Over his 17-year radio career, Jamal has hosted Sunday morning and Saturday night gospel programs, served as local host of The Yolanda Adams Morning Show and current host of The Jamal Bates Show in Columbia SC on WFMV 96.1fm, 107.1fm and 620am. His newest venture—TJBMS—launched in March 2021 and is co-hosted by multimedia personality and award-winning journalist Ashlei Stevens and U.S. Army veteran, Christian comedian Vernard “The Laugh Therapist” Hines.
